Ok, so my dad bought me the piano I wanted. As some may have picked up on, It's not an acoustic grand. It's a Yamaha Avant grand N3 if you're compelled to look it up. It's a long story how we ended up with it. But basically I would want at 30k+ piano and my dad didn't want to put out that much cash. So I say all this to ask what oppo would change about the room? Basically the color of the room and the floors.

Hardwood floors! Every piano needs to be on a hardwood floor. Unless you're worried about making too much noise. But I suppose the one advantage to an electric is that you can turn it down...

I know. It will, the piano just got here, so it's not all neat yet.

Yes. I was thinking hard wood floors as well. I'm not worried about noise. The main advantage to me was that it's always in perfect tune.

Personally, is worth it for me. But I've been told that I'm somewhat elitist.

I like those, those are nice if you can't fit a 7ft grand in your living room.
